Alan Day, Dan O’Conner, Joe Weiss, Josh Lyford, and Jake Massucco are Four Year Strong. At first, this may not raise eyebrows or drop jaws, but it is only a matter of time. With a unique blend of brutal breakdowns and soaring choruses, Four Year Strong have sunk their teeth into the Worcester hardcore scene and thirst for more. Their music incites a riot like nothing seen before, leaving live crowds and CD listeners alike simultaneously blown away and fired up. |

POLYSICS * MARCO POLIO & THE NEW VACCINES * BAD PARTY * 8PM * $12 * AA
POLYSICS is a Japanese new wave/synth pop/punk/rock band, hailing from Tokyo. The band started in 1997, but got their big break in 1998 at a concert in Tokyo. They create high energy music, fusing conventional guitar music, with synthesized and computer generated sound to create a unique mixture of punk and electro-pop. Their song lyrics often consist of Japanese, broken English, or just plain gibberish. The band has been noted for their extremely energetic live performances and their wild gimmicky outfits. |

ROGUE SATELLITES * CARJACK * MUE SEPHUE * 9PM * $5 * 18+
The Rogue Satellites are Detroit-based intergalactic synth-rock.
The space persons are: Scott Stone; demolition/snarls/percussion, and Jaye Thomas; verbal/programming/guitar...
"Wickedly clever and wildly addictive collision of analog and synthetic pop music"-Metro Times
"[The Rogue Satellites] won me over with their sway-inducing 8-bit hums and synthy swaths. Their clackety programmed beats saddle up against Stone's tightly locked live pounding and Thomas' guitar...bitter and biting lyrics are delivered with impeccable charisma"-Jeff Milo, Real Detroit Weekly |
