AEG Presents: Liz Phair - Amps on the Lawn Tour with Speedy Ortiz

Liz Phair is a Grammy-nominated singer songwriter whose debut album, Exile In Guyville, is considered by music critics to be a landmark of indie rock. She has been a recording artist and touring performer for twenty-five years, paving the way for countless music artists, particularly women, who count her among their major influences.  Her deeply clever and often brutally candid songs have been garnering critical praise since she began her career in the early 1990s in Chicago by self-releasing audio cassettes under the name Girly-Sound.  The intense viral response to these early tracks led to Phair signing with the independent record label Matador Records. AEG Presents: Alina Baraz - Welcome To Desire Tour with JMSN

Alina Baraz is a singer and songwriter whose uniformly mellow material flits between downtempo electronica and slightly left-of-center R&B. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio but based in Los Angeles, California following a creative epiphany, Baraz gained some notice in 2013 through her collaborations with producers Galimatias ("Drift," "Make You Feel") and ESTA ("Paradise"). Baraz and Denmark native Galimatias developed a deeper creative partnership, instigated by Baraz via SoundCloud, which birthed Urban Flora. Credited to both artists, the eight-track EP was released by the Ultra label in May 2015 and debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at number 111. Baraz followed up in early 2017 with a collaborative single, "Electric," this time featuring guest vocalist Khalid. Her first solo EP, The Color of You, was released in 2018, and featured the single "I Don't Even Know Why Though.

AEG Presents: Cherub with Maddy O'Neal

Beyond the fog of burning blunts, the sea of whiskey, and forest of empties, you’ll find two sweethearts in a Nashville garage. Just as they were yesterday, the day before that, and years prior. Searching for the perfect combination of string plucking, button pushing, and knob turning to craft the ideal sound to make you forget your world and step into theirs. The aforementioned sweethearts are Jordan Kelley and Jason Huber; known to most as “Cherub."

AEG Presents: The Revolution

The Revolution -- Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Bobby Z, BrownMark and Dr. Fink -- is most commonly known as the versatile band behind the music icon, Prince. Merging funk, rock n' roll, rhythm and blues, pop & psychedelia genres, the band is considered to be one of the most successful music acts of all time. The Revolution rose to international fame and prominence in the mid 1980s with Purple Rain, a rock operatic project centered around Prince that catapulted him and the group to instant stardom. The project consisted of two parts: a studio film and an accompanying soundtrack/album. The film was a box office smash hit, while the soundtrack is regarded by many as one of the greatest albums of all time. The record, Purple Rain, was recently inducted into the Library of Congress to be persevered for generations to come. After the summer of 1985, The Revolution soon found themselves to be a global phenomenon, following the release of the film and touring throughout the United States, Europe and Japan.

AEG Presents: Bahamas

Earthtones is the newest and totally most best album yet from Bahamas, aka me, Afie Jurvanen.

I wasn’t feeling too inspired in 2016. I’d been in a seemingly unbroken cycle of recording and touring for 6 years. I know, you’re saying to yourself “that’s so clichė, all musicians complain about being tired…” But wait, there’s more!

Not knowing exactly what type of album to make, I was feeling pretty low. But at that very moment, my longtime manager and confidante Robbie Lackritz called and said “dude, you should make an album with D’angelo’s rhythm section.” And just like that, the juices were flowing and the songs started coming.

AEG Presents: Petit Biscuit with Mainila Killa & Wingtip

Petit Biscuit is a 18 year old electronic music producer from France, keen to take on the world. After picking up the cello at age 5 and entering French classical music school the Conservatoire soon after, things heated up when Petit Biscuit got his first PC at 11. Editing and mixing all the sounds of his tracks himself, he excels in creating unmistakable chopped and twisted vocal leads. His first tracks got him an impressive following on SoundCloud and YouTube early on. Now with the release of his debut EP in May 2016, the delicate music of the young prodigy has started to spread like wildfire. The song "Sunset Lover", heady and recognizable among thousands, acts as its spearhead. With: Mainila Killa & Wingtip

AEG Presents: Tyler Childers - Sludge River Roadshow 2018

Hailing from the Appalachian Mountains in Kentucky, Tyler Childers is part of a wave of 2010 Americana artists who prize authenticity both in their songs and sound. Sonically, Childers borrows heavily from the weathered, ornery progressive country records of the '70s, a comparison brought into sharp relief on his second album, 2017's Purgatory, which was produced by the acclaimed Americana rocker Sturgill Simpson.

AEG Presents: Kruder & Dorfmeister

Kruder & Dorfmeister are two producers/djs/remixers whose distinctive trademark sound is at most times extremely mellow, has a lot of bass, downbeat tracks and a sense of epic soundscapes. There might be the occasional double-time breaks and the heavy and deep typically viennese feeling.

Consider K&D to roam in their own, unique realm of musical beutekunst that owes and gives a lot to rare funk tunes, electric jazz arrangements, the feeling of deep soul, hiphop, dub, reggae, ambient, fusion, brazil, chansons, dope beats and drum+bass and still a lot more influences that happen to find the interest of the two austrians.

AEG & The Ark Present: Violent Femmes

Violent Femmes’ ninth studio album and first full-length collection in more than 15 years, WE CAN DO ANYTHING may well be part of a long musical continuum but it is also among the most provocative and playful in the legendary band’s remarkable canon. As the title makes plain, founding Femmes Gano (vocals, guitar, banjo) and Brian Ritchie (acoustic bass guitar, vocals) remain intrepid as ever before, traversing infinite genre and emotion via their immediately identifiable mash of rambunctious folk, minimalist punk, cubist blues, cosmic jazz, and back porch rock ‘n’ roll.

AEG Presents: Ministry with Carpenter Brut & Igorrr

Ministry’s Al Joursengen, the acclaimed pioneer of industrial music, doesn’t muck around, doesn't sugar-coat, doesn't pull punches. He’s highly opinionated, exceptionally well read and articulate on subjects ranging from politics to alien conspiracies to American history to his beloved Chicago Blackhawks/Bulls/White Sox/Bears. He is an avid follower of NASA scientist David S. McKay, ancient civilizations scholar Zecharia Sitchin, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Scottish writer/archaeologist/scientist Graham Hancock. During a layover at the Las Vegas airport this past summer, Jourgensen spotted U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff, introduced himself, and took full advantage of the encounter to let the Congressman know of his views on tax reform and the possible perils of redistribution of wealth, the current obstruction of the “Russia-gate” investigation by the House Intelligence Committee lead by Republican Chair Devin Nunes, and to inquire about the status of the possible impeachment of the President, on not only obstruction and collusion charges, but for treason.
